The Deciding Factor
I have recently come to a place of success in my life. I am having more success now than I ever have in any other point. I have started a blog and a business, and set great goals for myself that I am positive will be reached. And I have developed an attitude of greatness and a mindset that just won’t be defeated.
How did this happen? Not terribly long ago, there was nothing extraordinary about me, nothing that set me apart from everybody else. How then did I get to where I am now, and on track to even greater things?
It’s actually pretty simple. I figured out for myself that success can be created. And it all starts in your mind.
If you want success, if you want to live an extraordinary life, the first thing you have to do is realize that you already have everything that you need to be successful. The problem comes in the application. Have you really set your focus on that thing that you claim to want so bad? Have you really made a determination in your heart of hearts that you are going to reach your goal no matter who or what tries to get in your way?
The real issue, more often than not is that we too often talk ourselves out of things. We rationalize that what we want is too difficult to achieve, or that we don’t have the time or money to make our dreams into reality. So we settle for a mediocre existence and go through life never truly being satisfied.
But there is another way. Make a determination today that you are going to take hold of your dream and make it a reality. Nothing or no one else can make that decision for you. You and you alone are the deciding factor.
We’ll talk again…
